    Terms of Service

These terms summarize acceptable use, policy boundaries, and service expectations for browser-based build workflows.

    Who is offering this

A single-maintainer service in early access. Response times are not enterprise-class; every issue is read by a human. Operational and billing records are retained for the legally required minimum (currently 36 months).

    What you may do

Personal projects, research, commercial maker work — all fine. Open-source firmware, closed-source firmware — both fine. Each plan's monthly quota is a hard cap, not a soft limit. **Your code and firmware belong to you. We claim no license, do not redistribute, do not mine, and do not train models on it.** This is an explicit commitment.

    What you may not do

No malware. No weapons systems. No unauthorized surveillance firmware. No reselling raw compile capacity. No use that violates the target-silicon vendor's license terms (Espressif, ST, TI, etc.). No attempt to use the service to evade laws in the jurisdiction where your end users live.

    Service boundaries

Best-effort uptime. Single region. No SLA. Builds that exceed timeout or memory are killed. During platform incidents the queue may delay or pause builds to protect stability. **Billing is per build, not per minute** — interrupted builds are not deducted from your quota, but no time-based outage credits exist either.

    Plans & billing

Each plan's quota is on [/pricing](/pricing). Top-ups apply to the current month only and **do not roll over**. Champion and above unlock STM32 / Cortex-M targets. Refunds: pro-rated for unused quota within 14 days of purchase; after that, only legally required refunds apply. Stop: just stop — no contract lock-in.

    Liability

Service is provided "as is" with no warranty of fitness for any particular purpose. **Any damage to your hardware, data loss, fly-aways, brick-on-flash, or regulatory non-compliance caused by firmware you build with this service is your responsibility** — that's the nature of embedded work. Any statutorily allowable claim is capped at the amount you actually paid for the service in the prior 12 months.

    Changes to these terms

Pricing / plan / service-boundary changes for existing accounts get **30-day advance notice** via email + a /blog post. This page is versioned; on each release the previous version is linked at the bottom. If you reject the new terms, you may stop the service before they take effect and receive a refund of unused quota at the previous plan's rate.
